Tyler served as an intern for the BSA team at Intouch Solutions during the summer of 2012. The expectation for this role is to serve various project teams as an entry level BSA or assist senior BSAs in their tasks. As a BSA intern, Tyler was involved in providing input to align client objectives with technical solutions, and create requirements documentation to support development efforts.

Based on my direct observations and numerous comments from co-workers, Tyler excelled in meeting all expectations regarding the tasks assigned to him during his internship. The nature of this internship was designed to be quite challenging. Tyler was immediately placed on a number of projects where he consulted with Intouch clients and provided inputs that brought a positive impact to several development projects.

Tyler’s conduct within the program was consistently professional with perfect attendance. Tyler brought some valuable skills and experiences to the job but also sought help when he needed it and displayed a constant willingness to learn from those around him.

It is indeed a pleasure to provide this brief recommendation for Tyler Thompson. He is a responsible, energetic and talented young man with a wide range of interests. He has three of what I consider the most important traits of good leadership: (1) a willingness to take initiative; (2) he pays attention to detail; and (3) knows how to follow-through and execute plans/processes. He has worked with me as an administrative leader in the Kansas Regents System and understands the importance of civic engagement and community outreach. Tyler belongs to a variety of municipal and county organizations and uses his skills and initiative to influence and shape outcomes in a positive way. He understands the importance of balancing local politics and activities with the implications of big-picture goals. Tyler is exactly the kind of individual I would like to have in my organization.
